YG has seemed to have entered a new era of their girl group.
YG's first girl group after 7 long years, Blank Pink has made their anticipated debut today along with a showcase for their debut album "Square One".
First, Black Pink expresses their gratitude to people who have waited for them and says that they will work hard to showcase their own color in the future.
Yang Hyun Suk who is also present at the showcase mentions 2NE1 and the group's pending comeback and reveals that it's difficult to work out 2NE1's promotions at the moment and to fill in the long hiatus, Yang Hyun Suk names Black Pink as YG's new representative girl group. He also shares that right now they are very sensitive in preparing the girls music, songs, choreography and all aspects of their debut. He also compares his special attention to Black Pink as if 'he's sending the girls in the entrance year of their elementary school'.
Meanwhile, Black Pink consists of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose made their debut with songs 'BOOMBAYAH' and 'Whistle'.
